Intern Spotlight: Andrew

We've had the privilege of working with some amazing interns this summer, we'll be sad to see them go when they go back to school. This week we're highlighting Andrew!

What motivates you to wake up and go to work?
Andrew: SNACK* has been a massive part of my life since I was a little kid. Having the opportunity to help out and learn the ins and outs of the organization this summer has been special and my motivation to come in and get to work.

What do you do at our company?
Andrew: I’ve been assisting with a number of projects and tasks in the back office, though helping with fundraising and development. My main job is to save everyone else time by doing whatever tasks or jobs they have for me so that they can use their time more productively.

What has been your favorite project so far??
Andrew: My favorite project thus far was assisting with summer appeals. SNACK* is constantly seeking to fill in the gaps for the families we serve and we wouldn’t be able to do that without the help of our generous supporters. SNACK* does important work and doing my part—no matter how small that may be—to help has been a great experience.

What’s something most people don’t know about you?
Andrew: I’m going into my sophomore year at Villanova University and am on the organizing committee for Special Olympics at school. We host Fall Fest annually, which is the largest student-run Special Olympics event in the world. This year I am on the Fundraising Committee and am looking to apply what I’ve learned at SNACK* this summer to Special Olympics!
