SNACK* Onsite Reopen Plan

We are asking that all individuals, regardless of vaccine status, notify us if they have had either direct or indirect exposure to any person that tests positive for COVID-19 or are experiencing symptoms such as a temperature of 100.4 or above, coughing, and /or shortness of breath by emailing either Liz Brady-liz@snacknyc.com or Jackie Ceonzo-jackie@snacknyc.com. If you had direct exposure to someone who tests positive, please do not attend SNACK*classes and contact us to discuss.

 

Please see SNACK's current Onsite Reopen Plan below. Please check our website regularly, as SNACK* may update this Onsite Reopen Plan from time to time to reflect changes in CDC and NYS guidance and the requirements of the pool facilities where SNACK conducts SNACK Swim programming.

UPDATE as of 9/1:

ALL INDIVIDUALS (Regardless of Vaccination Status & Program Location)

  • Will be required to complete the SNACK* COVID-19 Screening Questionnaire each day before entering the SNACK facility. A reminder will continue to go out each morning.

  • Temperature will be taken prior to entering the facility.

UNVACCINATED INDIVIDUALS:

  • Staff will be required to submit a negative COVID-19 test every week beginning in September. Email reminders will go out when tests are due. Testing will NOT take place at SNACK. Those who don't submit their results in time will NOT be admitted into our SNACK facilities. We are not requiring members/kids to be tested.

  • Will be required to wear face coverings and practice social distancing while in the SNACK facility. If any staff are unable to wear a face covering due to medical issues please inform SNACK so that reasonable accommodations may be considered.

 

VACCINATED INDIVIDUALS:

  • Face coverings and social distancing are optional.

The following policies and procedures will continue at our SNACK facilities:

  • SNACK will have a staff member on site dedicated to cleaning throughout the day during programming. Our professional cleaning service schedule will continue.

  • Everyone is encouraged to bring lunch to minimize traffic in/out of the facility.

  • Hand sanitizing stations and PPE are available throughout the facility for use.

SNACK Swim

Village East Swim Club: All individuals must fill out the questionnaire and have their temperature taken to gain entry to Village East Swim Club. Per the Key To NYC vaccination mandate, all individuals over the age of 12 who wish to gain entry to the Village East Swim Club must provide proof of at least one dose of vaccination against COVID-19. Proof of vaccination along with a matching photo ID may be provided through a hard copy, a picture of your vaccine card, or through an app such as Excelsior Pass or NYC Covid Safe. All individuals must wear masks, except that members may remove their masks while in the pool. Staff members may, but are not required to, wear masks or face shields while in the pool.

St Bartholomew's Church: All individuals must fill out the questionnaire and have their temperature taken to gain entry to St. Bart's. Per St Bartholomew's Church policy, all individuals who wish to gain entry to the St Bartholomew's Church pool facility must be fully vaccinated, and will be required to provide proof of vaccination to gain entry. St Bartholomew's Church does not currently have any exemptions in place for children under the age of 12. Proof of vaccination can be provided by a vaccination card, the NYS Excelsior Pass or other digital applications which demonstrate proof of vaccination. All individuals must wear masks, except that members may remove their masks while in the pool. Staff members may, but are not required to, wear masks or face shields while in the pool.
