Meet Our Instructors
Our class leads are experts in their fields, with eclectic backgrounds representative of the city of New York! However, they all share a unique ability which makes their knowledge accessible to a wide range of participants. Whether you are advanced or just starting out, our instructors will meet you where you're at and make sure your experience is a good one.
Adelaide (“Addy”) Probert
Art
Addy received her BFA in Painting from Boston University and has been working in art education since 2021. From classes within public schools to private studio lessons, Addy has taught every age group from children to adults and finds so much joy in helping people discover their love for creating. She is excited to bring this approach to our participants and help every person in her class find what kind of art brings them joy.
Nathaniel Aguilar
Music
Nathaniel has his Bachelors of Music in Percussion from Stetson University. He has been teaching and performing in the Washington, D.C metro area for over 20 years. Nathaniel has experience teaching individuals of varying abilities at Middle C Music since 2013 and is excited to bring that knowledge to our participants.
Andre Ardito
Exercise
Andre holds a Bachelors in Business from St. Francis College. Andre has been a certified personal trainer since 2015, working with individuals of varying abilities and helping them to achieve their fitness goals. Before focusing full-time on fitness, Andre also has experience as a Job Training Specialist at AHRC.
Jule Ramirez
Yoga
Jule holds a B.A in Theatre Arts/Dance from University of Houston, a 200-hour Yoga Certification from OM Yoga, and a Certification in Crisis Counseling through Counseling in Schools. She has taught dance and yoga for over 10 years and has trained teachers to implement dance and yoga into the public school system through the Guggenheim Museum’s Arts 88 Program. Jule is a recipient of The Bronx Museum Action Lab Grant and is currently a member of The Stanley Love Legacy.
Oba David
Exercise & Soccer
Oba has his B.A in Social Science from Queens College, City University of New York. Oba has been working with individuals of varying abilities for 20 years in various roles. He has worked as a sports instructor, substitute teacher, para-professional, and respite coordinator. He has been leading our participants in Exercise & Soccer since 2010.
Brandon Ramos
Cooking
Brandon Ramos is an Executive Chef and educator with over 15 years of experience leading kitchens across New York City. At Snack, he brings his passion for inclusive culinary education to life—developing accessible recipes, structured programs, and engaging classes designed for individuals of varying abilities. With a background spanning restaurants, bakeries, and instructional kitchens, Brandon combines creativity with structure to foster independence, confidence, and joy in the kitchen.
Kathleen Boddington
Yoga
Kathleen is a certified Yoga and Pilates teacher. She has practiced many genres of yoga for over 25 years and Pilates for 10 years. She believes in the healing power of movement. Kathleen could not be happier to work with our participants and her colleagues at Snack. She is grateful for the opportunity to bring the joy and dynamic power of movement to our participants and hopes to be here for many more years to come.
Shakima Washington
Cooking
Shakima has her Bachelors in Exceptional and Childhood Education. In addition to teaching at Snack, Shakima teaches many weekly private one-on-one cooking classes. She works with a variety of ages and caters lessons to the individuals’ needs. As a culinary instructor, Shakima likes guiding and revealing the skills individuals didn’t know they could possess.

Camilo holds a degree in Accounting and Information Systems from Queens College. Additionally, he is a certified professional lifeguard and Water Safety Instructor. Camilo has been passionate about swimming since he started at the age of four. With an impressive career as a professional water polo player, Camilo had the honor of representing his national team, Colombia, in numerous competitions. Upon moving to New York, Camilo discovered a new passion for educating young children. For over 15 years, he has been dedicated to teaching swimming to individuals of varying abilities and collaborating and learning from other professionals in the community. Camilo finds immense satisfaction in helping individuals overcome obstacles and witnessing their eventual success.
